This name encompasses an entire series of Polish delivery vans, produced by the Fabryka Samochodów Ciężarowych (Truck Factory) in Lublin between 1959 and 1998. The Żuk was a favorite of farmers, served mailmen from Poczta Polska, and sometimes even acted as a fire engine. Like the iconic Maluch, the Żuk was an everyday hero for many Poles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe T-shirt features a Żuk from 1967, which was a version with a wooden cargo bed that gave it a payload of 950 kg. Other variants of the Żuk were mainly used for transporting food products or clothing, but passenger models, i.e., minibusses, were also produced. In 1970, Żuks even began to be assembled in Egypt, and despite the obvious analogy, they were not called \"Scarab\" but Ramzes. The Egyptian ELTRAMCO factories assembled their Żuk-Ramzes until the 1990s, with many modifications introduced along the way.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe production of the Żuk ceased in 1998, when the number of units released reached 587,818. And although, in terms of numbers and sales, it lagged far behind the \"beetle\" Garbus, this does not mean that it was not a car that particularly served the common person. The decline of the Warsaw factory can be attributed to the radical modernization and use of new solutions by WSK, which ultimately led to the closure of the Warsaw factory. One of the great strengths of the T1's manufacturers was their effort to adapt the production of new models to customer needs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe T1 achieved immense popularity worldwide, which it earned with its rarely seen universal character. Depending on the version, it could accommodate 2 to 9 people, and its top speed reached 75 km\/h. The Transporter was also a favorite vehicle in hippie circles, and as a result, throughout the 1960s, it accompanied groups of laughing flower children on their journeys to warmer climates. Production of the T1 ended in 1967, but it was not its definitive end. In early 1939, TKS and TK-3 vehicles began to be rearmed with the modern, Polish-designed wz. 38FK 20 mm heavy machine gun, but by the outbreak of the war, only 23 units had been modified. Platoon leader cadet Edmund Roman Orlik, commanding such a vehicle, became the first Polish tank ace, destroying, according to various sources, 10 to 13 enemy tanks in the September campaign. In this case, however, we are not referring to the popular Volkswagen Beetle, but to the Polish \"delivery van\" - Żuk. This name covers a whole series of Polish delivery vehicles, produced by the Fabryka Samochodów Ciężarowych (Truck Factory) in Lublin between 1959 and 1998. The Żuk was a favorite of farmers, served postal workers from the Polish Post Office, and sometimes even played the role of a fire truck. Like the iconic Maluch, the Żuk was an everyday hero for many Poles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe T-shirt features a Żuk from 1967, which was a version with a wooden cargo bed, giving it a payload capacity of 950 kg. Other variants of the Żuk were mainly used for transporting food products or clothing, but passenger models, i.e., minibusses, were also produced. In 1970, Żuks even began to be assembled in Egypt, and despite the obvious analogy, they were not called \"Scarab\" but Ramzes. The Egyptian ELTRAMCO plants assembled their Żuk-Ramzes until the 1990s, with many modifications introduced along the way.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe production of Żuk was halted in 1998, when the number of units produced reached 587,818. And although in terms of numbers and sales it was far behind the \"beetle\" Garbus, it does not mean that it was not a car that particularly served the common man.
