This moped, also known as the Pony, could reach speeds of up to 40 km\/h, which aligned with the assumption that the machine should be safe to use and encourage adherence to traffic regulations. The lightweight Motorynka – 35 kg – could carry a person weighing 100 kg, while also being easy to handle and consuming 2 to 2.5 liters of fuel mixture (petrol and oil).
