Its distinctive front, resembling glasses, gave it its nickname – in Czech, "brejle" means glasses. In Poland, the locomotive is known as Nurek (Diver), which also perfectly reflects its appearance.

These machines were indispensable in both passenger and freight transport. They quickly gained the affection of railway enthusiasts due to their reliability and unusual silhouette. Some units, after modernization, are still running on tracks, being over 40 years old! Currently, Brejlovec locomotives can be found mainly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Fun fact: many versions of the Brejlovec were created, and its "goggle-like" front became a railway icon in the region. Now you can always have a piece of this history with you – on a T-shirt, hoodie, or mug from our collection.

The author of the drawing is Wrocław artist Paweł Grabowski.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0988/0770/9992/files/BREJLOV-SCIOKU-BI_f3da0504-ca12-4e04-b758-6df54f787aea.png?v=1777993064
