Its prototypes, Żuk (Beetle), Bąk (Bumblebee), and Odra, finally led to the creation of the first series of this exceptional PRL-era scooter in 1959, with production lasting until 1965. In 2020, we are pleased to introduce the first series of t-shirts featuring the red Wasp.

The idea of constructing a scooter came from above – presumably because while women with windswept hair zoomed around on Vespas in the West, People's Poland could not boast a similar machine, and Polish women had nothing to zip around on. The Wasp, with its sleek, elegant body, had a touch of the West that Poles could afford. At the same time, it was stable and adapted for riding in difficult terrain, which together provided great comfort of use.

The drawing was created by Wrocław artist Paweł Grabowski.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0988/0770/9992/files/OSA_CZE-SCIOKU-BI_62a62b01-e668-464e-8ad0-1cff70d6ee92.png?v=1777990839
