Although it was designed with the functions of a delivery vehicle in mind, it quickly saw passenger versions or those combining features of a delivery van and a minibus. One of the great advantages of T1's manufacturers was their effort to adapt the production of new models to customer needs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe T1 achieved immense popularity worldwide, which it earned with its rare universal character. Depending on the version, it accommodated from 2 to 9 people, and its speed reached 75 km\/h. The Transporter was also a favorite vehicle in hippie circles, and as a result, throughout the 1960s, it accompanied groups of smiling flower children on journeys to warmer climates. Production of the T1 ended in 1967, but this was not its definitive end.
