T-25 Vladimirec

This Soviet, and later Russian, tractor was produced from 1966 to 1995. It was initially manufactured at KhTZ in Kharkiv until 1972, after which production was moved to Vladimirskiy Motoro-Traktornyy Zavod, which is where its popular name comes from. It was during this period that imports began, and these tractors gained immense popularity in Poland.

Its relatively simple design, small size, and low costs are the main reasons why the T-25 earned a special place in small agricultural farms. Among Polish farmers, the most popular version was the T-25A, shown in our graphic, which featured a lavish, by Soviet standards, enclosed cabin and a "two-lever" gearbox. Popularly known as "Władek" or "Rusek," it even had a Polish assembly plant. It was assembled at the Leda factory from delivered parts and equipped with a pneumatic system and a more modern Sokółka cabin. It's also worth remembering that this tractor appeared in an export version for Western countries as the Belarus 250. It can still be found on many farms today, bravely battling time and winning the hearts of its users.
