Škoda 110 R

The Škoda 110 R is a sports coupé manufactured in Czechoslovakia between 1970 and 1980. It was created as a more dynamic version of the Škoda 100/110 model, with which it shared a rear-engine platform. The two-door body and streamlined design gave it a distinctive look that stood out from other Eastern Bloc cars of the time. The 110 R model became the basis for creating high-performance versions – including the famous Škoda 130 RS, known as the "Porsche of the East". Thanks to this, Škoda gained recognition in international rallies and races. In its heyday, the Škoda 110 R was a dream for many drivers in socialist countries, but due to limited production, it was difficult to obtain even in Czechoslovakia itself.
