Product description

SHL M11

The SHL from the communist era, a model known and loved by us, was developed based on a pre-war model designed by engineer Rafał Ekielski. However, World War II halted the production of this prototype. After the war, the Ludwików Steelworks produced the first M02 and M03 motorcycles, equipped with the Polish S01 engine. The models from the 1960s introduced many interesting improvements, such as the new S32 engine, a rear rack, and a cigar-shaped exhaust, with continuous modernization. Production ceased in 1970. Today, SHL motorcycles can be seen at the Museum of Technology in Warsaw, as well as in the private garages of the greatest enthusiasts of this unforgettable machine.

The drawing was created by Wrocław artist Paweł Grabowski.
