Ostrówek backhoe loader

The history of the "Ostrówek" backhoe loader dates back to the late 1960s, when the authorities of the Polish People's Republic decided on the necessity of creating a Polish, people's, and reliable excavator. The honor of delivering the prototype fell to engineers from the ZREMB association. In the early 1970s, the project was handed over to another group of fortunate engineers from the Bumar association. From its earliest versions, the "Ostrówek" equipment was mounted on an Ursus tractor - first the C-350, then the C-360 (both are in the nikiniki collection). In its golden years, the Ostrówek plant produced up to 1200 machines annually. The last model of the backhoe loader was designed by engineers from its native plant, using the Ursus 3512 as the chassis. Several hundred units of the machine were then produced.
