Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang proved to be a great success for the brand. Designed as a car for young people from the so-called "baby-boomers" generation, it was meant to be associated with freedom and unbridled spirit. The name was inherited from a World War II fighter plane – the P51 Mustang. The model's popularity was influenced by the extensive possibilities for configuring additional equipment, which was a novelty on the market at the time, as well as a wide-ranging marketing campaign. The Mustang paved the way for pony cars – a smaller variant of American muscle cars.

The drawing's author is Paweł Grabowski, an artist from Wrocław.
