Star 266 Ceramic Mug

Mug capacity: 330 ml

Star 266

This legendary truck was created at the request of the Polish Army, which was looking for a successor to the Star 66 – 660 family. Work began in 1969, and the first production Star 266 rolled off the line in 1973, marking the beginning of a highly successful career for this vehicle in both military and civilian service, serving as a chassis for countless specialized superstructures. Its all-wheel drive, solid construction, powerful 6842 cm engine, and excellent off-road capabilities led to over 4500 units being exported. In 1988, two Star 266s participated in the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally, where both crews reached the finish line.

Today, over 10,000 of these vehicles are still in service with the Polish Army, and the secondary market brings joy to enthusiasts of truly extreme off-roading. The graphic depicts the Star 266 with its most popular box body.

The drawing is by Mariusz Felek Foltak.
