Thanks to its durability and thoughtful design, it could overcome adversity where other vehicles would have long since given up.

And if it sounds familiar – that's no surprise. The T-34 was the serial hero in "Four Tank-Men and a Dog," where it became almost a crew member – with its own name - Rudy 102.
