Motorynka
The Romet Motorynka, manufactured in factories in Bydgoszcz, was a vehicle aimed at young people, meaning those who didn't mind a lack of a luxurious body and low speed when it came to feeling the wind in their hair and having fun. The moped, also known as the Pony, could reach a speed of 40 km/h, which aligned with the assumption that the machine should be safe to use and conducive to obeying traffic laws. The lightweight Motorynka – 35 kg – could carry a person weighing 100 kg, and was characterized by ease of handling and fuel consumption of 2 to 2.5 liters of mixture (gasoline and oil). Its undeniable advantage was the ability to repair it oneself, although the biggest plus of the Pony, especially valued by young people, was that the user of the iconic two-wheeler did not need a driver's license to ride it.
