ZiŁ-130

The ZiŁ-130 is an icon of the automotive industry from the times of the Polish People's Republic and one of the most popular trucks in the former USSR. This legendary truck was developed by Moscow designers as a successor to the less successful 164 model. Its production began in 1962 and continued uninterrupted until 1994. In the meantime, the ZiŁ-130 saw many versions and production variants. Almost 3.4 million of these vehicles were produced at the "Likhachev Plant" alone. Not only the number of units produced is impressive, but also its legendary fuel consumption – the ZiŁ-130 consumed about 30 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

Another characteristic feature of this vehicle was its unusual paint scheme for the 1960s. The "One-thirty" stood out from the ubiquitous drab grey trucks on the roads with its blue and white cockpit.

In Poland, you can still find a ZiŁ-130 at work, and a T-shirt with graphics of this indestructible truck will be a treat for those nostalgically remembering the times of the Polish People's Republic when the ZiŁ was at the peak of its popularity.
