ZiŁ-130

The ZiŁ-130 is an automotive icon from the Polish People's Republic era and one of the most popular trucks in the former Soviet Union. This legendary truck was developed by Moscow designers as a successor to the less successful 164 model. Its production began in 1962 and continued uninterrupted until 1994. In the meantime, the ZiŁ-130 saw many production versions and variants. Almost 3.4 million of these vehicles were produced at the "Likhachov Plant" alone. Not only is the number of units produced impressive, but also its legendary fuel consumption – the ZiŁ-130 consumed about 30 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

Another characteristic feature of this vehicle was its unusual paintwork for the 1960s. The "One-Thirty" stood out from the ubiquitous grey trucks on the roads with its blue and white cab.

In Poland, you can still find a ZiŁ-130 at work, and a T-shirt with graphics of this indestructible truck will be a treat for those nostalgically reminiscing about the Polish People's Republic era, when the ZiŁ was at the peak of its popularity.
