ZIL-130

The ZIL-130 is an automotive icon of the PRL era and one of the most popular trucks in the former USSR. This legendary truck was developed by Moscow designers as a successor to the less successful 164 model. Its production began in 1962 and continued uninterrupted until 1994. In the meantime, the ZIL-130 saw many versions and production variants. The "Likhachev Plant" alone produced almost 3.4 million of these vehicles. Not only the number of units produced is impressive, but also its legendary fuel consumption – the ZIL-130 burned about 30 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

Another characteristic feature of this vehicle was its unusual painting for the 1960s. The "One-Thirty" stood out from the ubiquitous gray trucks on the roads with its blue and white cockpit.

In Poland, you can still find a ZIL-130 at work, and a T-shirt with graphics of this indestructible truck will be a treat for those nostalgically remembering the PRL era, when the ZIL was at the peak of its popularity.
