ZIL-130

The ZIL-130 is an icon of the automotive industry from the communist era of the Polish People's Republic and one of the most popular trucks in the former USSR. This legendary truck was developed by Moscow designers as the successor to the less successful 164 model. Its production began in 1962 and continued uninterrupted until 1994. In the meantime, the ZIL-130 saw many versions and production variants. The "Likhachov Plant" alone produced almost 3.4 million of these vehicles. Not only the number of units produced is impressive, but also its legendary fuel consumption – the ZIL-130 consumed about 30 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

Another characteristic feature of this vehicle was its unusual paint scheme for the 1960s. The "One-thirty" stood out from the ubiquitous grey trucks on the roads with its blue-and-white cockpit.

In Poland, you can still find a ZIL-130 at work, and a T-shirt with graphics of this indestructible truck will be a treat for those nostalgically remembering the times of the Polish People's Republic when the ZIL was at its peak of popularity.
