Škoda 1000 MB

The Škoda 1000 MB was a groundbreaking model in the Czechoslovak automotive industry, produced between 1964 and 1969. It was the first Škoda car with a rear-mounted engine and a self-supporting body, marking a significant leap forward compared to earlier designs. The 1000 MB model, designed as a car for the masses, quickly became one of the most popular vehicles in the Eastern Bloc countries. Manufactured in a modern factory in Mladá Boleslav, it symbolized the technological development and industrialization of Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. The name "1000 MB" comes from the engine capacity (1000 cm³) and the city of Mladá Boleslav, where the car was produced.

The drawing was created by Wrocław-based artist Paweł Grabowski.
