Škoda 110 R

The Škoda 110 R was a sports coupé produced in Czechoslovakia between 1970 and 1980. It was developed as a more dynamic version of the Škoda 100/110 model, with which it shared its rear-engined platform. Its two-door body and sleek lines gave it a distinctive look that stood out among contemporary cars from the Eastern Bloc. The 110 R model became the basis for high-performance versions – including the famous Škoda 130 RS, known as the "Porsche of the East." Thanks to this, Škoda gained recognition in international rallies and races. In its heyday, the Škoda 110 R was the dream of many drivers in socialist countries, but due to limited production, it was difficult to obtain even in Czechoslovakia itself.
