UAZ 452 Buchanka t-shirt - a gift for military vehicle enthusiasts
The UAZ 452, a multi-purpose vehicle affectionately nicknamed Buchanka, meaning "loaf of bread" in Russian, is a well-preserved automotive veteran that indeed resembles a freshly baked loaf. Designed for the military, this almost 60-year-old "loaf" is one of the longest-produced cars in the world, with almost no modifications. Over time, in addition to its military applications, the UAZ 452 became a common sight in everyday life – as a delivery van, but also as an ambulance. In this latter role, the Buchanka serves to this day – during the pandemic, it was one of the Kazakh heroes, conquering the local market in new car sales, with a share of almost 11%.
