"Motorynka" Baseball Cap

Motorynka

The Romet Motorynka, manufactured in factories in Bydgoszcz, was a vehicle aimed at young people, meaning those for whom the lack of a luxurious bodywork and low speed did not hinder catching the wind in their hair and having fun. The moped, also known as Pony, could reach a speed of 40 km/h, which aligned with the assumption that the machine should be safe to use and should encourage adherence to traffic regulations. The light Motorynka - 35 kg - could transport a person weighing 100 kg, while being characterized by ease of handling and fuel consumption of 2 to 2.5 liters of mixture (gasoline and oil). Its undeniable advantage was the possibility of repairing it oneself, although the biggest plus of the Pony, especially appreciated by young people, was that the user of the iconic single-track vehicle did not need a driver's license to ride it.
