Willys

The Willys MB is a well-deserved veteran of World War II. It was the first 4x4 model to roll off the assembly line, with over 1 million units produced. This outnumbered all German military Volkswagens, which largely contributed to the Allies' victorious actions. The heroic jeep was so instrumental that President Dwight Eisenhower called it "one of the three decisive weapons the U.S. had in World War II."

Our iconic jeep, sometimes referred to as the G503, initiated the process of introducing similar types of cars (4x4 SUVs) into civilian life, which means many caring parents today drive their children to school in large four-wheel-drive machines. The Willys MB was also called a "sardine can on wheels," which only emphasizes its iconic character, thanks to which it is perhaps even more recognizable than the Volkswagen Beetle.
