Willys

The Willys MB is a distinguished veteran of World War II. It was the first 4x4 model to roll off the assembly line in over 1 million units. This outnumbered all German military Volkswagens, which greatly contributed to the Allies' victorious campaigns. The heroic jeep earned such merit that President Dwight Eisenhower called it "one of the three decisive weapons the U.S. used in World War II."

Our iconic jeep, sometimes referred to as G503, initiated the process of introducing similar types of vehicles (4x4 SUVs) into civilian life, which has led to many caring parents today driving their children to school in sizable four-wheel-drive machines. The Willys MB was also called a "sardine can on wheels," which only emphasizes its iconic character, thanks to which it is perhaps even more recognizable than the Volkswagen Beetle.
